Macedon Reservoir (lake) is commonly known as ‘The Res’ locally and a favourite swimming spot.
A former steam engine supply reservoir, this swimming spot is well suited to very warm days due to its extensive natural shade, both in and out of the water, from the lakeside pine plantation.
